We have so much to be thankful for in our country. It seems that most people have forgotten why we can feel so thankful and safe. We are among the richest in the world. The companies that we work for, or the companies that we own are free to grow as large as we want. The cities and towns we live in, the farms and ranches that we live on are safe and protected! Because of that protection, we are allowed and able to go as far as we could possibly ever imagine. The only things stopping us are the size of our goals and dreams and possibly criticism from others. But even that is something you can freely overcome and change.
Our rights as American citizens are among the best in the world. Due to our Declaration of Independence and the blood of our founding fathers we have created and made this great country. This country has changed in the last few hundred years. Some say for the good some say for the bad, but we as free Americans still have the right to work on it. This country is only as good or as strong as the people who live in it and care for it, also fight for it.
With all of the trials our country has been through, attacks from foreign countries, attacks within our own country, we are still a force to be reckoned with! We do not boast or brag about our power. We are leaders by example for the most part, if we are left alone, they will be left alone. This country has been known to bend over backwards to help other countries in need. Countries hit by natural disasters, or foreign invaders look to us for help and a guiding light.
There are only two words to describe how this country became so great: “American veterans”. Because of our founding fathers and their love of freedom and liberty, we conquered the greatest military on earth! Thank God that kind of love and determination was passed down to future generations! We got back what was rightfully ours and have maintained it with the declaration of Independence, and the Constitution ever since. Our veterans and active military members have been put through the ringer these past years!
Our government seems to have forgotten how they got so powerful. They have been so caught up in themselves for so many years, they don’t remember where they came from. All they see is the power that they have individually.
If it weren’t for our heroes, veteran men and women, this country would not be what it is today! Everyone seems to be so busy worrying about themselves, they have forgotten about the greatest men and women in this country and their damn sure not in Washington DC!!
Our veterans joined the armed forces to keep their families and all Americans free and safe. While they were defending our country, in the air, on the sea, on the ground, they carried thoughts and love for those of us back home. They wondered how we were doing and how we were getting along without them here.
We can never repay them for the sacrifices they have made for us. We owe our veterans thanks and gratitude for everything we have here in the United States! We can show them they have not been forgotten. They took us everywhere that they were deployed, in their hearts and minds. It is a small token of appreciation for the sacrifices they made to keep us safe and to keep the greatest country on earth safe. We can take them everywhere we go by putting their name on this patch. We all know an American veteran or active service member that we are proud of they are our heroes. It will show them how proud we are of them, for what they have done for us!
We all ride something whether it be a Harley, horse, bicycle, dirt bike, skateboard, motorboat, race car, 4X4 or rocking chair. Put them on your team jacket, sports jersey or whatever you wear, to show your pride. If possible active service members can take a patch with them on their deployments. This will show our American veterans and active service members, they will not be forgotten that they are loved and cared for!
Send a picture of your veterans patch on the article of clothing you put it on, along with a picture of your veteran hero, if you have one. And a story if possible, of why you chose that veteran or active service member. Ask to have it put on the hero’s board, so everyone else can see the pride you have for our United States veterans and service members. I am sure they have heard the gratitude in the past from us thanking them. But when they see the pride and love shown in their honor, it takes it to another level. They deserve it all, because they gave all!!
Every time you see an American veteran or active service member, thank them for their service and your FREEDOM!!
